Porfimad : ''the pig producer first"
Porfimad is a group of 170 pig producers, organized in closed system.We sell 794 000 fattening pigs per year. Porfimad has a workforce of 35 people, located in Pleyben and Landivisiau in the Finistere. Their differents missions are :
- Technical and economical advices: (feeding, genetic, pig building, management...)
- Sanitary consulting, 2 veterinaries and pharmacy
- Environment management: 53 manure treatment
- "R&D": exchange of information with other european pig producer organization.
